A concert that breathes light, sensuality, and fascinating orchestral colours. François-Xavier Roth and the SWR Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart transport us to a world of impressionist textures with Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Ravel’s great symphonic work, Daphnis et Chloé, a score of hypnotic sonorities and utter refinement. Amid this sonic landscape, Emmanuel Pahud, one of the great masters of the flute, will perform Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1, full of grace and elegance. An evening of sophistication and melodic charm.
