The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, under the baton of Dani Espasa, invites us to experience a unique event featuring one of the most profound and powerful works in the history of music: Mozart’s Requiem. This monumental piece, written during the final days of his life and left unfinished at the time of his death, was completed by several of Mozart’s collaborators. The emotional impact of this Requiem—full of mystery, sorrow, and transcendence—is unparalleled, and its dramatic intensity continues to captivate listeners to this day.

The concert also includes two complementary works: Mozart’s Symphony No. 1 in E-flat major, KV 16, a youthful piece full of energy and freshness that marks the beginning of his journey as a composer, and Morten Lauridsen’s Soneto de la Noche, a piece based on a poem by Pablo Neruda that evokes introspection and the serenity of the night.
